We have plenty of research materials available to help you write your paper. You can come into the library or search our electronic resources from home, or both.
How to get started:
- Choose a subject
- Find sources of materials
- Gather your notes
- Outline the paper
- Write the first draft
- Cite your sources
- Edit your paper
The Library is a great place to help you choose a subject and find sources of materials.
Which database should I use? Good question! Here are a few examples of what you'll find:
| EbscoHOST MasterFILEPremier |

How do I cite an online resource?
There are several different citation formats, and you'll need to check with your teacher to find out which one to use for your project. While viewing an article in Ebsco, you can usually find the information you will need by clicking the Citation link. This will give you the original publication information, plus a persistent Web link to the article (which your teacher may or may not require).
