Kindle Free eBooks collection In Kindle store, check special Features menu to access links to free classics and special new free book downloads in kindle ebook format

OpenCulture This collection features free e-books, mostly classics, that you can read on your
computer, smart phone, or Kindle. It includes great works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

Planet eBook Offers about 100 classic novels (eg. Frankenstein and Jane Eyre) in electronic form.
You can download, use and share any of these as long as you don't charge.

Project Gutenberg The original free online source for over 30,000 books. Search by author, title, keywords.

Web-books free eBooks library contains 30+ contemporary books and 1200+ classic books.
Many of them are illustrated. Good selection of non-fiction titles.

Textbook Revolution Links to textbooks and select educational resources. Some books are PDF files, others are e-books. Most books are for undergraduates, but there are some resources at every level, from kindergarten to post-doc.
